The First Nations peoples of Canada built stone landmarks known as Inuksuit to help them navigate across the vast wilderness areas.  Today thousands remain with Inuksuit firmly established as a cultural symbol for the Inuit people.  Recent reports point to a hitherto undiscovered Inukshuk in the Quebec region.  The race to follow the archaeological evidence begins?

The 52nd Parallel is a stunning winter-based Experiential Adventure set amongst the spectacular scenery of the Mauricie region in Quebec.  This will be an experience you remember for the rest of your life.

The story begins with an unexpected encounter in Montreal airport followed by a thrilling flight following the Saint Lawrence river to the beautiful city of Quebec City.

The adventure continues with an exhilarating mix of ice canoeing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, wilderness skills and ice driving.  This is all topped off with luxurious accommodation, wonderful hospitality and the most stunning locations in this enchanting corner of North America.

Group Size

This experience is suitable for groups between 4-40 people split into teams of up to 5 people.


The experience is centred around Quebec City and the Mauricie region of Canada which lies to the north east of Montreal.


This experience is best enjoyed over 4 or 5 days.


This experience is primarily developed as a motivational reward or incentive.  This Experiential Adventure is best enjoyed in January, February or March.


This experience includes a flight in a light aircraft landing on a frozen lake.  It also includes a night staying in a traditional Wyandot Long house.  It can also include an overnight stay in an ice hotel.
